International Association of Law Libraries - annual website award
Education Awards
Digital Education Achievement Awards are given by the Center for Education and Converge Magazine. The award recognizes websites in K12 and higher education.
Student Awards
ThinkQuest - Provides awards for the best student-produced projects. Explore the information found at Projects and What is ThinkQuest?, part of the 'Introduction' section (menu on left side of webpage). The Library houses projects completed for the competition.
General Web Awards
American Design Awards - This group gives monthly and yearly awards.
Bloggies - The Weblog Awards - These awards are given for the best weblogs and resources related to weblog - - a 'weblog' is defined as a page with dated entries.
Edublogs awards - Awards for blogs
Favourite Website Awards - This award is given for quality design and use of Flash.
Golden Web Awards - Presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.
Pirelli Multimedia Award - Internet multimedia award
WebAward Competition from the Web Marketing Association - This awards website has a cool animated "assistant" that tells you about the award. This a great resource to find quality websites across all fields including education.
Webby Awards - The best known of all website awards, the Webby Awards are given each May for the best websites in 65 categories.
