Coding: Introduction
Basic web development skills serve as the foundation of all effective websites. Regardless of whether you're building a simple web page or an entire website, the building blocks are the same.
We'll apply these skills to a simple web page project. It is suggested that you complete each of the Try It
activites that you see in yellow boxes throughout the page. As we move through this section, chapters from Rob Huddleston's book HTML, XHTML, & CSS will be highlighted.
This section of the website contains four elements: xhtml, editors, terms and tags, and deprecated tags.
Read Chapters 1 and 2, plus pages 322 and 338-345 in Rob Huddleston's HTML, XHTML, and CSS: Your Visual Blueprint for Designing Effective Web Pages. Wiley Publishing, Inc. ISBN 978-0470-274361
